• The best plug wires

Who makes the best plug wires out there that will fit a 3.4? I run the Accels 8.8mm wires now but they are old. My car also runs all rough and hesitates so i am thinking it is the wires since i recently changed everything else. What are you guys running and what do you recomend, also, i don't mind having to make a set.

I have a set of MSD superconducters on my 94 3.4. They are pretty good. MSD claims 50 ohms per foot resistance which low compared to even other high performance wires. I don't know if they make a custom set for the V6 but I do know they make a universal v6 set.

Are the Taylor Spiro-Pro 8mm wires that Thunder Racing has for 38.99 any good? I'm about to install a DIS-4 so I wanted to upgrade the wires as well.

Yes. I have had a set on my Camaro for 2 years and no problems. Also, because they come custom made, you do not have to cut and crimp your own fittings and there are no extra long wires "hanging" around the engine.

taylor wires are the $hiszit, especially for the money. i'd put them up against the hyped-up MSD wires any day.

Yes. That is good to hear. You can buy the Taylor Spiro Pros for the 3.4's in red/blue for 34.99 at Tbyrne.com. I ordered my exhaust and wheels from Tbyrne.com. Its a good site, If you havent seen it yet, take a look.

From the link, goto ignition and you will find the spark plug wires.

anyone have opinions on the Accel or has experience with the MSD wires?? If not, i will get a set of Taylors too.

My stock plugs are still in the car. Are they the $6 double platinum AC Delcos??

I have a set of MSD 8.5mm wires on my 3.4L. I custom made them and they are awesome. I ohmed all of them out before I put them on and they are all at less than 100 Ohms of resistance.

I've been using the Accel Extreme 9mm wires for about a year now.

I like them, for the most part, but I think they could have done a better job with the boots.

Even if you crimp them on they feel like they're about to pop off the plugs. Thankfully they have never done so. :D

Do taylors have more heat resistance by chance? My car, for some reason, likes to melt wires...

I had the accels and when I went to change the plugs the connector came out of the boot on three plugs (despite liberal Dielectric grease use). POS! I now have the Taylor 8 MM and I am very happy with them
