The bearing in my tension pully is going bad, and is making an annoying sqeaking noise. Can somone please tell me the part number for just the pully it self, i dont need the whole assembly, or am i going to have to buy the whole setup. Also if i buy the new pully will it come with a new bearing? I searched this forum and the only part number i came up with is 24506755, but this seems to be for the idler pully. I have a 97 3.8 Firebird. Im looking to buy the pully from http://www.buy-oem-parts.com/storefront.htm

if you just need the pully you can just replace that. You can get them anywhere. Gates sells them. If it's the tentioner arm itslef you need to get that from the dealer..1996 Silver camaro Z28. gates numbers
Idler Pulley Belt Drive Pulley 38006
Tensioner Pulley Belt Drive Pulley 38015
Tensioner Assy.Belt Drive Tensioner 38152
The one in bold is what I would "assume" you need although the 38006 part is more like teh standered pully... If you give these part numbers to autozone or advance they can interchange them to any of there part numbers and then show you what it is and you can pick out the right one1996 Silver camaro Z28.
