P1441 Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) system flow during non-purge '
my car started misfiring constantly instead of my random ghost misfire.. so now in addition to po153 and po300 i have a 1441 code.
i understand this has something to do with the gas tank?
ive searched but it seems like 1/2 the ppl think that evap is egr so i didnt get a straight answer.
thanks guys for any help rendered
The confusion surrounds me <br />change is imminent<br />if I were they<br />we could be great
mine when off soon after i got my headers on so i beleive it is the egr
K&N air filter, Whisper air lid, magnaflow LT1 cat back, and magnaflow high flow cat, pacesetter headers, silverstars<br /><br />more to come soon<br />but for now im out of money
the egr is not related to the evao system according to my search. also i checked that plastic cable hockeyman, its not cracked and its not hissing. i pulled one end and the car died.. so im guessing that cable is fine. any other ideas?

my car had the same code and I finally figured out what it was, this is an evap code not an egr code, there is a solenoid on your engine that is stuck open, it is located on the right side of the intake manifold, in the front, it's black, has vacuume lines running to it., one of the lines runs into the intake manifold.
the black cylinder your reffering to is the egr it sounds like.. ill go out and look real quick to make sure. but its certainly not stuck open, i cleaned in like 3-4 months ago.
