• Are ARP head studs really worth it?

is the $78 price tag that much better than the $26 from autozone?

Yes. When modding, mod to eliminate weak points, don't add potential ones. Always go the extra step.

Keep in mind that they are double ended studs and not bolts like the Autozone ones. The car be reused where the bolts cannot. The also add a lot more clamping force than conventional bolts.

if i were you, id get ARP head bolts. while head studs do have more tensile strength and are reusable, unless your going to be tearing your motor apart all the times, bolts are a great option(and cheaper)

You can reuse them. Becasue there is no bolt head (weak point) there going to be about 10% stronger by design.
