Last night, my car was running perfect. This morning, I go outside to start it and it won't even start. It's turning over great, but it just won't start. All of the accessories work and the battery is good. Anybody have any ideas? I need some quick help on this... gotta be to work in a few hours.

check the normal stuff?
Fuel pump prime the lines when car is in "on" position?
any chance you have a spark plug wire tester(would tell you to pull the plug and see if it lights up when you crank, but probably a difficult task on an older 3.8L.) This would kind of tell you if you are getting spark through the plug, and coil.
Off hand things I can think of
Crank positioning sensor
bad injectors(unlikely)
ICM
fouled plugs(unusual)
Crossed wires?(unlikely unless you messed with them)
To rule out the fuel problems
Try starting it with starter fluid, I'd try and reach behind and spray it behind the MAF so you don't get any on it. See if you hear it fire a few times, no so much start but at least fire.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

I had the same thing happpen. Mine was the battery. Take the battery out and have it checked. It may not have enough juice to start the car.

You could always jump it to be safe, but you generally notice at least a slight decrease in power.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

Heh, forgot I posted this.
I got it started... it kept blowing the 10-amp ignition fuse.
The shop put in a 25-amp fuse to get it to hold. Retards. I took it home and put a new 10-amp in. I don't want to start any fires.
I found that when the power feed to my amp is unhooked, it won't blow the 10-amp fuse. I now have the amp and subs disconnected and it's running a 10-amp fuse. Starts great every time. Only thing is, now it's misfiring really bad. Got it scanned and it ran a P0300.
It was suggested to me that it's the ICM, which I believe... but I don't want to shell out $160 and have that not be the problem. She's going to a different shop on Monday.1996 Pontiac Firebird
Black, 3.8L A4
