I honestly dont know why it takes some people like 4 or 5 hours to do the pulgs in their 3.8's. No i dont have tubular manifolds, its a 96 3.8. It was not easy, but it wasnt as difficult as everyone said it was. I changed my oil, PCV valve, plugs, took every wire off, check all the wires, and used dielectric grease on them, and changed out the fuel filter.
this took me a total of 3 hours, and that includes a 15 min. trip to a buddies house to get a swivel spark plug socket.
if you didnt use a swivel sockey, im sure it would take you like 10 years to do them.
only thing that sucks was that when i pulled the AC delcos out, they were fine......they were in great shape. one of them was cracked on the ceramic, but i dont know if i did it taking it out or not.
we'll see if my gas mileage gets any better than 18 on the highway now.
