grinding shifting into reverse

90% of the time, its grinds a lil, and its very annoying plus people look at you like wtf? So what causes this? easy fix?

Put it in 5th gear before R... works everytime.

Yep, its because Reverse doesn't have a synchro. So put it into a gear with one first, to make everything stop moving. [img]smile.gif[/img] Took me a while to figure this one out too [img]smile.gif[/img]

i ususally use 3rd. if you can't get it into any gear with a synchro, keep it in neutral, pump the clutch twice & then try. happens very rarely tho

like everyones been saying...i like to run it through the gears real quick b4 throwing it into reverse then it always works...i had the same problem and the people saying crap....

I sued to go 1st-2nd, 5th reverse...

but my tranny and clutch were in poor condition at the time...

what, did that take you like 20 seconds to get reversing [img]smile.gif[/img] (j/k)

and yeah, its a pain, but you get used to it, real quick
