    Will a 180* stat from a 95 LT1 fit a 3.8L? I have gotten both yes and no answers on this, anybody know the right answer? Thanks in advance :D [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

    Short answer: No it will not work.

    Long answer: You need to get a 180° stat from Pepboys or a local autoparts store. Stant makes one that fits it. The thermo is 44mm in diameter and will work great. You might want to invest in a new gasket while youre at it - $0.50. [img]smile.gif[/img]

      Alrighty thanks. I have the 180 in my car and I switched to a 160 and was going to give my buddy the 180, looks like I screwed up the original post [img]graemlins/dunce.gif[/img] :D
