Hey what is it, where's it located and what all can it cause if it goes bad. Dealer told me this could be the reason my car is starting as in not taking off it first gear???????
My new ride 2000 camaro, No mods yet still waiting for warranty to run out then all out heads, cam, and supercharger

The neutral saftey switch is located in your transmission gear selector, whether it be a manual or automatic. This wire tells the PCM that the car is NOT in gear so the engine can start without the possibility of the starter moving the car.

Also makes for a GREAT starter kill! :D
