  • fan switch and LED's

    i put the free fan switch mod(well close to free) in and the LED's come on but dont come on at the right time, when the switch is off there is on light on and when i have it on low, there are two lights on and when i put it on high there are no lights on??? i tried different things but same results, does any one have any suggestions...

    Does the fan operate properly? Is it just the LED's that aren't working right?

      Did you wire the switch properly? Did you purchase the right resistors/LEDs?

        yeah the fan switch works perfectly, no problems there, just the LED's are messed up, i got the ones from radio shack the LED/resistor combo, and like i said the lights come on just not at the right time...

          Probably attached the LED(s) to the wrong terminal on the switch. Kinda hard to diagnose without seeing it or atleast a wiring diagram though.
