Could I just get the wires and capacitors? I just like less then 3000mi ago changed to bosh +2, so I wouldn't need the boschs, also would this work with the accel coil packs?
it would work with any coil packs and the msd since it's basically wires, capicitors and plugs. i would go with the plugs tbyrne gives you.
i was swimming in the carribean. animals were hiding behind the rocks except for the little fish, but they told me the squid\'s trying to talk to me. oink, oink. where is my mind?
Ok, one question, how is this different from MSD DIS-4? Is it better, worse or the same, if it does basically the same thing, i will buy it and pay $100 right now. Please let me know Tom.

P. S. Will installing this be OK considering that i have the Hypertech PP3 power tuning installed?

It is different then msd's system. with Msd you get a control box, and coil pack thingies, I forget what they are called, this you just get wires plugs and capacitors. Yes it is fine to install it even with your hpp3. So does that discount go for the 3.4 as well? If it does I will greatly consider it.
Judging by the pictures, I'm assuming that the caps go directly on the spark plugs (I can't see where else they would go)? It looks like you put the plugs in, then stick the caps on the plugs, and then attach the wires to the caps. If that's the case, won't there be clearance issues? There's barely any room between the block and the exhaust manifolds for some of the plugs and wires, so how would one of those caps fit in there?

Tom, I would volunteer my car.
I can call you tomorrow with a credit card #.
I know the guy above me has already asked but I'm willing also.
Tomorrow is my day off.
I've wondered about it.
I couldn't warrent spending $200 but I would offer my bird as a guinea pig.
As it is now I see 31 mpg on the highway I would like to see if I could improve it.
I also have access to a dyno.
In time (as soon as my tranny is rebuilt in 1 month max) I will hit my speed shops dyno.
I would be willing to even see if I can get back to back dyno results.
I have been using mgk tr6 plugs gapped at 0.035 for ever and it works awesome with my car.
I don't know if I want to change plugs.
I have cash (well credit card ) and am willing to call you tomorrow to place the order for $100.
I am more than willing to give first impressions, install instructions, before and after fuel economy, and possibly (in a mont or 2 max) dyno proof too.
Tom, I thought about e mailing you but I figured it might just get put in a very busy e mail account for you so I didn't bother.
I know you will read this sooner or later.
Should I just wait for a reply or call you in the morning anyway, or you e mail me.
Eh, whatever is good for you.
I'm flexible

The capacitors are about 1 3/4 - 2" long. It's been awhile since I've noticed how much room was down there so I can't give you a good answer for this one.
JML97-3.8/12secondv6: Someone was supposed to order the discounted set last week but we haven't heard from them so the offer is still open. Most e-mail that comes in is answered the same day. We usually answer 500-700 per week but everything gets taken care of You can place your order by calling 1-877-4-TBYRNE.
Actually I may hold off.
As much as it is a good deal I must dump the money into my tranny.
We all know my tranny is toast right now. It is on its last legs and my ignition system works fine now but the tranny does not.
I have to work on the problem area's first.
Sorry t byrne, I must decline

Yup, I had to decline.
I took the bird out for a ride and the tranny is on its last legs.
I have to save the $$$$ for building my tranny.
Might as well offer it to someone else

Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
