Every time I let off the clutch no matter what gear or what speed, the RPM's drop to about 500 and the lights and all interior lights/radio dims alot. Say if I'm traveling at 70MPH, and I put the clutch in to slow down, the RPM's drop gradually, but when it gets to about above 1000, its drops fast to about 500 and comes back up, and the lights and radio dim when I push the brakes. I installed another idle control valve, MAF and a PCV valve, not for this reason though. Any thoughts? Only thing I can think of is the alternator. Let me know what yall think

Lights dim, RPM's drop

My car does the same thing, its normal.
If you have your alternator spinning at 2500 RPM, and then slow it down to 700 RPM (where my car idles) its output isn't going to be as high, hence your lights dim. I'm not sure of the exact number, but I'm pretty sure alternators don't put out their full output until near 2000 RPM.
Your speed has no effect on how fast your alternator is spinning once your clutch is disengaged. At that point there is no connection between your wheels and your engine.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap

True, but I'm wondering if its supposed to drop that fast, I mean sometimes it does it so fast it wants to die out on me, and when they dim I mean they dim bad, its not occasional and its not just a little dim, its like the lights are at half the output they were at first\'96 Black Camaro M5
17x9.5\" O.Z.
