Just making sure my car is running perfect because I just switched out my faulty oil pressure switch that was leaking like a mother****er (pics coming soon of how it busted) ... Anyways, when I first put it in at idle it was up around 60psi! So I took it out and drove it to get it moving again and after it warmed up pressure dropped back to normal. I figure it was just calibrating or going back to what it should be doing. Anyways, runs fine. BUT I am now getting accurate readings. At idle I'm getting about 25psi, moving about 50psi, and when I get on her at about 5000-5500rpms she's at 60psi. Sound about right to you guys?
This is my 3.4 ;)

grr. Oil pressure is still sitting up high when I first turn the car on. Not until about 180* does it like to drop oil pressure. *grumble* never did that before.

My car was like that too, and actually read a little low, I was a little worried there might be soemthing wrong with my motor, I swapped in a new one, and it read jsut lke yours is reading now, and car ran like a top never had a problem.
I dont know if my oil pressure at normal operating temperature is low or not and its sometimes worries me. I use normal Castrol GTX 10w-30 in my engine and when I start it up cold it reads about 55psi all the time which is good. When it has warmed up and ran a good distance >15 miles it drops all the way down to about 25psi from about 1500 rpm's and up and while idling in gear at about 800 its at about 10-15 psi which is just above the red. Its always done this as far as I know but I was just wondering. The manual says anything thats not in the red is normal so im trusting it for the time being.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
