I've got my 3.4 Camaro engine on the stand and have removed all the 13 mm fasteners from the bracket on the right side of the engine. There are 2 black round fasteners that I'm unable to remove using allen wrenches. Are these TORX or ?? If so, anybody know what size they might be? If not, what are they and suggestions for removal? BTW: I may have rounded them off (on the inside) any suggestion for removing them if I screwed them up?

is one under the master cyl? If so these are the top bolts for the front struts.

Thanks Car but, No, the 2 fasteners I'm talking about are on the Right Front of the engine - I believe it is an accessory mounting bracket I'm trying to remove. They terminte in the head near the rocker arms and springs.
They are torx bolts, I got a set of them at autozone for about 5 bucks they come out w/o any problems afer that - hopefully you did not strip them out too bad and you can use the torx
Thanks - I'll let you know. If there are any alternative methods to remove 'em -I MAY need
them.

A drill and some easy-outs are required hardware when removing nasty bolts. Of course, this begs the question: What do you use to get the easy-out out?
