  • Window is loose and rattles :(

Hey guys, i searched through some old stuff and didnt really come up with squat on how to actually fix the problem. Most of the threads just said take it in, i would rather fix it myself then spend time and money to let the dealer do it. So... How do you fix the problem of the windows being loose in their track? Its happening on both the driver and passenger side...

    Thanks guys!

my windows were loose i guess

i took off the door panel i adjusted these pad thing by the window....i think they were brown or black they were fuzzy and held in with a bolt. you canmove them up and it will stop the window rattle.

dont move them up too much or ur window wont close

yeah i was aware of those, havent taken the time to pull the door off yet, i was more concerned with the window track it self. Its apprently looser in the rearend of the window than it is in the front.

i had this problem also, there are 3 rails in the door, one on the back that runs up and down, one in the middle that is about 6 inches running left to right, and another in the middle on the right running left to right.

by back end was loose also, and what had happened was that the runner on the back rail had come out. loosen 2 bolts on the rail and put it back in. takes like 20 minutes.
