my 96 camaro in the morning around 160F-180F it dies down in rpms and know it is getting worse when i let off the gas it goes and drops really fast like it is going to stall. does any body know what sensor it is that triggerd a p0120 electrical circuit for the throttle position sensor and where it is.

It's on the passender side of the engine, right behind the throttle body. Look at the picture here: http://www.geocities.com/mike_1305/untitled.JPG
The TPS is orange in color right inside the circle.

The orange connector thats circled in your picture isn't the TPS, it's the IAC.

You need to test the TPS circuts and sweep the sensor. Wireing colors might be slightly different but you can read this for info. http://mainstreamtopics.com/forums/i...showtopic=1315

doubtfully. Things that come to mind is vaccum leak, faulty IAC, dirty Throttle body etc etc

Sorry, I always get those two mixed up...
Anyways, if you need a TPS, lemme know. I have a few extra ones around here in the throttle bodies I've refurbished.
