My car is in the shop because I had my old, broken clutch swapped out for a new one. Our mechanic found out that one of my Accel coils was burned out. The car was rough at idle and apparently the middle coil doesn't fire correctly. So we tried to buy three regular coils and install them (no one carries Accel coils around here), but apparently I have some sort of Accel Ignition box or some crap on there and factory GM coils won't work on it. It's going to take a while to get another Accel coil, and even then I don't know what the heck is in my car!
Someone help me out, I don't even know what kind of Accel ignition boxes/computers and coils work in my V6. I desperately need help because I can't let my car sit at the garage forever. This stupid car has so many aftermarket parts I can't even identify half of them. Yes I bought it used if you're wondering.
