I am posting this for a friend, so bare with me....
He just installed a jet stage 2 chip in his 99 firebird, and now he has no TCS. He called Jet, they said they never heard of this. Has anyone else experianced this problem.
On a side not....
I just bought a Brand New Hypertech 3 Programer for 200 bux on ebay...woohoo...and a brand new set of GM 3.73 gears...40 bux.....and.....B&M Shift kit, not the inhancer for 21 bux (NEW)....whooo....now i have to find that TC and I am set.
By the way, if anyone is interested in an LT4, I know where one is for sale pretty cheap. Maybe if someone buys it, I can get a finders fee, LOL...RIGHT!
Anyways, if anyone has any in-put on the chip question, my friend would appreciate it.
Oh, he got the chip due to my 00 camaro beating him on the 1/8th mile track 4 times....my 9.9 to his 10.3. So i had to match his chip with my newly bought items,,,,shhhh dont tell him, LOL
