I did a search and read up on all the good info. Just want to make sure there is nothing that "I" can do. Driving today and all the suddent he SES light turned on, can't tell a difference with the car, the perfomance and stuff is fine. Checked all the stuff like gas cap and IAT and what not and everything seems to be working, is there anything else that i can do before taking it to a autozone? It is just on, not blinking.

yes, it's free. just make sure that you either have them print the codes or write them down for you. AS SOON as they are done scanning and they go into thier "you need to buy X X and X X X to fix X X and X code"... RUN.1996 Silver camaro Z28. The code was propably written to the history. Unless the fault is not present for a certain amount of key cycles it will remain there. The scanner will read any history code even if the light is not on at the time1996 Silver camaro Z28.
