• Seafoam hates me, help!

Well I used Seafoam yesterday, smoked a lot, then it was running really well all day. Then later that night after sitting a while (about 2am), I go to move my car and missfire.. At first my SES is constant, then it starts flashing. I take it to autozone and:

History DTC P0300
Random/Multiple Cylinder Missfire Detected
MIL Requested since IGN NOT RUN Since Clear P/F.

Ok, I understand the missfire part, but wtf is that last part about the IGN? I bought the new plugs and wires, got half done today, gonna finish them in the morning, but I dont know if it will solve my problem. Anyone have any ideas? Did it somehow knock something lose and clog one of my Fuel injectors, or foul up a spark plug or something? Thanks.

give it time to burn off.. you could have done many things. Peice of carbon sticking a valve open, fouled plugs, contaminated 02's, doo much liquid in the motor and bent a valve ect etc ect

:( Man, I was really hoping I wouldnt have to tear into the valvework any time soon. Guess I'll just buy all new valvetrain components if I'm gonna be working on it. Still hoping its just a plug or a wire.

w00t, Plugs and wires fixed the problem. Cylinder 3 wasn't firing, not sure if it was wire or plug, but it works now.

Bloody ****in hell. Well I went to go to work last night, started the car, and missfire. What the hell?! It was fine for a while, but when I need to go to work it wants to missfire again. So I ran to the auto store, bought a coil, swaped around to see if that was it, no luck. So, new plugs, wires, coils, what the hell is it? Possible IGM? I'm going insane here. you could still be breaking peices of carbon off.. does it only miss after it warms up or does it do it on cold start up as well?

Found out the problem. One of my NEW spark plug wires fried open, and was arching all over the place. Have a temp fix now, gonna do some custom heat shielding this weekend. Thanks for replying though.
