  • 160 thermostat question?

my car feels like its dying in this heat.. its runnin in traffic around 210!!

will a 16o thermostat help me out...?? and do they sell Hypertech thermostats at chains like pep boys??

im also doin a home made slp fan switch for 12 bucks... i kno its going to throw codes but does it throw codes on the real slp verson?

and i was looking into the harwood ram air hood but just using it to vent out all the heat under my hood since i already have a slp cai.... i got a few dents in my hood so instrad of pulling them i mite as well go with a new one..

On pre 2000 F-bodies the 160 thermo and fan switch should not cause an SES light.

I know Dominic and a few others run a resistor in place of the IAT to get rid of the SES light.
