• Idle Question

What should my car be idling while stopped? Don't know too much about cars being a girl and all. I noticed that my cars vibration goes away when it idles at a higher RPM. Any way to change it to where it always idles at a higher RPM? Right now it idles just below the 1.

i have a 96 camaro also and it occaisonally idles rough. I have recently replaced the egr valve and a lot of the idling roughness has gone away. the lists for a rough idle are extensive and not pretty, unlike you I am sure.
