• Fuel/Air gauge

Hey guys I have a 94 camaro v6. I have been looking to install a fuel/air gauge but Im not sure if I can even do it. Do I have to buy extra equiptment besides the gauge? Or does the engine have all the sensors it needs for the gauge? Also anybody ever do this before? Install guide?

You use the wires on your stock o2 sensors, you just splice into them

i didnt actually do mine...so im not really positive..i just know what wires go where...the purple one should splice into one of the wires that comes out of one of your o2 sensors...which one exactly im not sure of

try calling a dealer or any local speed shop...they should be able to tell you exactly what wire to cut...good luck!

Sounds easy enough to wire them. Am I to understand that the engine has 2 o2 sensors? I readanother post about someone hooking up a 2 way switch so one gauge could read the 2 seperate sensros. Do they read different readings at the same time? ANy installation instructions?

i think they do actually have 3 ...one in each header and one after the cat...but im not sure which one the gauge goes to is all...whoever hooked it up to 2 sensors probably hooked it up to the ones in the headers to make sure each bank was running right

the 3.4 is a 2 wire O2, not sure there, if you tap one it sould be 0-1v in that range...

on my 97 the purple wire is the correct wire

for you 98 and up guys tap the O2 in the headers, don't matter witch one

The 3.4L V6 is actually a single wire O2 sensor. You CAN convert to a 3-wire sensor for a better output from the sensors. The single wire is the data wire so it makes connecting the A/F gauge pretty easy.
