I know this isnt a firebird but i need some opinions and i trust u guys the most!
Im thinking of gettting a 1975 Chevy Chevelle Malibu. It has a 454 Big black in it that was rebuilt. Its getting a new tranny which is auto but oh well. It was used for drag racing and it did pretty good i think? It dont have the windshield wipers or the a/c and the seats are torn a little with a little rust under the wheel well. It has new exhaust, shocks and brakes. He wants 4,500$ for it. And the 454 with over 450HP has about 6,000 miles on it is it a good deal and what do u think it got in the 1/4?? Will it be worth my time to fix it up and make it look nice. Oh ya it still has its original paint that is in really good shape!

sounds like a fun car but the only thing that bothers me is a drag motor with 6K and the price. i dont know if its just oklahoma but old muscle cars with used racing motors go for less than that :\ except when the suckers buy them :D

talk to him on the price and test the motor before you buy if your planning on using it extensivly. i think if you like it enough, buy it. the only point im trying to say is 6K on a race motor is alot. all the people i know switch motors just incase at 5K. i dont know if its needed, thats just how we do things around here

If its strictly a drag car, thats rather high. Talk him down a bit.
