Well, after consulting chilton, I think I'll wait for just a little while to fix this (unless I can avoid removing the entire EGR assembly).
If it won't affect my gas mileage real bad, I'll just let it be until my rebuild (scheduled for soon).

EGR is tested on accel and decel, thats why you get the code then.. A scan will be the only way to attack the problem tho. That will give you the best coruse of action to take. It could also be something else. But if the EGR is stucking open then it will make the car run bad, run rich and can burn up the cat..
but is does run a little rich. I'll prolly wait a little and just rebuild it in a month or two.
