    if you have no power on the brown wire to the switch it in no way shape or form could be the motor. If you made a mistake and do have power then it could be.

      I agree with HBH if your not getting power to the switch then it cant be the motor, its something inboard from the switch to the breakers. another place to check is the fuses, i dont mean check the fuses i mean take a multimeter and take out the fuse and see if you are getting any power to the fuse block, all you can do is keep running back up the circuit until you find power and isolate where your losing the power from.

        well i've got a new switch ordered so i'll find out if thats what the problem is

        and also there is a clicking sound whenever i press the switch, if that means anything.

            i noticed my window was doin the same thing a few weeks ago but then it was fine up until today when i came home i checked the mail before i drove up and it wouldnt roll back up. i thought i must just have a short in it cause i had a wreck not to long ago but now i'm startin to wonder if its somethin else
