• my dads car sounds alot better than mine

he has an impala with a 3.4 in it, and when i floor it, his car sounds alot better than mine.

its kinda wierd, but i like the sound of his much better, and both cars have the stock exhaust.

The reason the 3.4 sounds better is its firing order. Its 1-2-3-4-5-6, the 3.8 on the other hand has a firing order that is not in order.

true to a point it depends on what the firing order is for the impala 3.4. its the same reason LT1's sound better than ls1s.

                humm, really?

I would of never guessed, cuz their firing orders are almost the same: 1-6-5-4-3-2, acually, it is the same, ecept the opposite, if you think about it.

Ok if you stop for a sec and think of what I seed you want be so fast to judge .

All I’m seeing you only think it sounds nicer because it is not your car.
Trust me that is the only reason why any off as makes any modifications to our cars. believe me or not but it’s the true. mine dad has the same car that I have only a hard top (f-bird ) so every time I drive his car I think is fester than mine, when I race him I always win so there u go, just like some looks on your car and thinks wow this car is so nice, and when you look at it you just find another thing that you want to change

And if I’m wrong sorry to take up your time

They just have a mean low deep gurgle. LS1s sounds similar, but for whatever reason i can tell its just newer technology... better is an opinion when it comes to sound though
