Today i was waxing my car and when i went to turn it on to move it, it did not start but instead made a fast clicking sound. The radio wont work, but the interior lights work, headlights work, and power windows all work. My question is does my alternator need replacing or my battery or what. I searched and only came to dead ends at the end of the threads. Thanks for your help in advance.

try jumping it and if the alternator is working the car will stay running..if not..the car will eventually die (shouldnt take long)..usually when the alternator goes the car kind of dies slowly..its hard to miss..you may have just left something on..start with jumping it..a local auto parts store should be able to test the alternator12 SECOND DUAL STAGE DRY NITROUS POWERED 98 A4 V6 CAMARO
www.MySickCamaro.50megs.com
Best ET: 12.82@103
Best MPH: 104.7
Best 60\': 1.75 - Stock TC

quote:
Originally posted by Shodown:
1DV6 runs 12\'s...enough said.
