  • Jet Chip worth it?

Will the jet chip give me any gains on the 1/4, Ive heard its not worth it. What does everyone think of it.

I think there's a definite improvement with the chip, can't tell you any 1/4 mile or hp #'s though.

They really don't produce any noticeable gains on the dyno - I've seen them tested before right in front of me.

I have one on my 3.4L V6. I don't know exact numbers, but you can tell a little difference in power. I seemed to accelerate a little faster. I have a manual tranny so I can't comment on shift points, but I hear that they are improved pretty well.

I have them listed on the AMM site now under the V6 section in "Electronics"

ive heard as much as 0.3 but I think thats a pretty generous estimate. I think its a good mod for an a4 98 and under car (they dont make power programmers for 98 -) I think the changing of the shift points and the speed limiter change is worth it.

I love mine...i can tell a difference, no numbers though.

Car shifts better and has a little more balls with it.
