When should they be changed (assuming I have stock ones in). I'm not looking to get new wires nor am I looking for anything "fancy" in terms of spark plugs. What's a good reliable one to go with?

NGK TR55 Copper Plugs or bosch platinums are both good, but you might consider them fancy. Never hurt to stick with stock

I have had good luck with:
Split fire
Champion
Autolite
and I also don't get anything special. I change em every 12k. Easier to get them out instead of waiting like 50k+ and they are froze to the block. ;)Thanks,
JAM
02 Firebird GT
