I locked my keyes in my previous car so much that I had a slim jim tucked away in a little sleeve I rigged up inside one of the wheel wells. Campus security eyeballed me after I would walk up to the car, reach under the wheel well and produce a slim jim, then break into my car on a regular basis.

Hi Kinetic, many times I've seen this happen to my friends so I'm sharing my solution to this. Make a spare door entry key and stuff it inside one of them ATM card sleeves. The open end of the sleeve is inserted upside down so the key wont fall out from your wallet. This is a fool proof idea next time you accidently leave your keys in the ignition or somewheres inside and all you have to do is reach for your wallet and unlock from the outside. Works every time ! :DBlack \'96 RS Camaro, 3.8 V6 Series II, M5, Stock 200 HP, 204K miles! i have unlocked a few camaros in my day including mine, now the thing is if you use the wrong tool in the door on our car you will hurt something internal. our cars have rods that ron from left to right and have to have a tool with ducktape on it that is shaped like an L. with the top having a handle the tip of the L sticks to the rod and by twisting the L the rod moves from side to side which then unlocks it. BTW was a tow truck driver for a few years ;)
now for the amature take a coat hanger and straighten it out except for the hook end. wrap duct tape around the tip backwards so you have a sticky ball of tape covering the tip a little smaller than a dime. reach in and pry your windo back a little. you may have to bend accordingly to make it catch your lock just right. then once you have the ball end on your lock, pull the window out a little more so you can take your end of the hanger toward the front of the car. once you are there, pull on the hanger to get the sticky hooked end to pull your lock to the unlocked position. and vwualla!!
or take your antenae and ruin it like it did. i locked myself out three times in one week. i have a routine of grabbing my keys, pulling the face off my cdplayer, opening then locking the door, and shutting it. if something distracts me like a phonecall or a girl walking by, im screwed. anyway i unlocked it the first time with a coat hanger as said above, then by bending and ductaping my antenae because i was mad.
then at 2am i did it again and finally snapped. i reached in and grabbed the edge of my window with both hands and pulled till i heard something break!! then i reached in and unlocked the car. my window snapped out of its track. then miraculously it snapped back in place and i have no problems.
I know keep a spare key in my wallet and beside my gastank.
i had one beside my gastank before then forgot to put it back. silly me96 Camaro 3.8 A4 Basemodel: 8 mm wires, Shift Kit, Hollowed
Cat(o2 sims), RKSport exhaust, IAT 5.6K resistor, Home Depot CAI
>>>15.375 @ 89.27<<<NEW BEST TIME http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/552491

You brought up a good point there BiH. I was unaware how intelligent criminals / thieves can use the internet for illegal tampering of our camaros. At least in my system, I get paged when my camaro is set off and I'm in the process of obtaining a gun permit. Take that you " clever " thief! lolBlack \'96 RS Camaro, 3.8 V6 Series II, M5, Stock 200 HP, 204K miles! A good idea, in the future, is to make a spare set of keys (maybe not an ignition key but a door key at a minimum, any hardware store will make a copy for a few bucks) and stick it in your wallet. I haven't locked myself out since I did that. Unless you take your wallet out of your pocket when in the car (I don't), this is a pretty foolproof way to prevent lockouts.http://www.cardomain.com/id/kefkafloyd
Red 1997 Pontiac Firebird 3.8L A4 w/ Y87
