Took my car to Autozone today, and this is the code it brought up. All he could really tell me was it was something to do with the emissions on my car. Anyone know anything else about it? Everything on my car is stock....

I made a few posts about this helping someone else, but like 90% of the other posts on this site, it seems to have been deleted for whatever reason (not implying anything, just saying it's weird).
It's a problem with your evap system. Could be the gas tank cap, evap purge valve, vacuum line, etc.

He told me that whatever it may be, its probably not anything extremely detrimental...and since ive been driving the car with the light on for 3 months, and it runs strong as ever, im not very concerned about it either. I am just curious as to what could occur if it remains unfixed....Comment

Man I hate this damn light, I think its my evap purge valve, so Im gonna change that out....Im so tired of this light I dont know what to do. Im just gonna go one by one and replce things that need to be replaced....whenever I reset my computer its off for about 2 days then turns on again...but it feels so good when its off. DAMN THIS SES LIGHT AND CODE p1441. Let me know if you get it fixed. 1st try your gas cap then check the hoses then I dunno Im stuck their...Im waiting on a haynes manual to arrive this week and Ill hopefully get a walk through with the whole evap system Kepp you updated,1996 Firebird-Y87:SLP Cold Air Intake,Y87 Perf.
