The clutch is new and only has about 3000 highway miles on it. The flywheel was machined new throwout bearing etc. When i start to engage the clutch it start to make a rubber to rubber noise. It doesnt bother me I just wanted to know if its normal.

I've had that noise too a few times also. It went away on it's own, but I still haven't identified it. Check and bleed the clutch fluid just to be sure.sigpic -
Might have gotten some oil on the flywheel... not motor oil, but some from fingers or gloves... it makes a hot spot, and a squeaky noise when its contacted by the clutchComment
