  • clutch is squeaking?

The clutch is new and only has about 3000 highway miles on it. The flywheel was machined new throwout bearing etc. When i start to engage the clutch it start to make a rubber to rubber noise. It doesnt bother me I just wanted to know if its normal.

I've had that noise too a few times also. It went away on it's own, but I still haven't identified it. Check and bleed the clutch fluid just to be sure.

Might have gotten some oil on the flywheel... not motor oil, but some from fingers or gloves... it makes a hot spot, and a squeaky noise when its contacted by the clutch
