I have seen plenty of cats go bad on fuel injected cars.

my cat went bad. if you bought it from a dealer b i t c h at them and they might replace it if your car has less than 80,000 miles on it. that wat i did cuz there is like a national warrenty on them for 80,000 miles. i think u just got water all ten kinds of in your exhaust. it might still just be there.2001 camaro a4 SOM vert
3800 series II
flowmasters american thunder
3.42 gears

its not fast but i drive it like a natural beast

this happened to me and luckily my car was still under warranty so it was replaced for free....
what it ended up to be was that my crankshaft threw a bearing and it scored the crankshaft along with tearing up a bunch of other junk....it was a quit ticking and then as the RPMS rose it got louder and faster (duh)....anyways its not cheap to have something like that replaced so hopefully thats not whats wrong with yours...good luckJuiced Rally Red 98 A4

Way too much to list....

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2263415
