OK I think I need to lube up my chassis.

I hear a slight squeak in the rear sometimes, and just for the whole car I'd like to do this as preventative maintenence.

I've never done anything like this. I did a search and a lot of people recommend marine grease because it is water proof and a grease gun. I also hear that stock ball joints and tie rod ends don't to be lubed because they are sealed. I have all stock suspension parts, but are there other grease plugs I need to lube up?

    Thanks guys!

I actually have a similar question. How many points need to be lubed on a stock 2000 camaro?

Yep. The factory ball joints, drag links, tie rod ends, and drive shaft universal joints are sealed from the factory. Many car manufacturers have used seal joints for years. However, If these parts are ever replaced, they may have a grease nipple.

On F-bodies, the rear coil springs have a habit of making noise because the bottom "seat" has no rubber or insulator between the seat and the spring. So many people use thick grease to put between the coil spring and the seat.
