When you install your oil filters do you moisten/lube the ring with fresh oil?
If not, dip your finger in some of the new oil and run it around the ring till its moistened and hand tighten the filter down pretty good (DON'T use an oil filter wrench to tighten it down).
Could also be oil pan gasket or the pressure sending unit.-1999 Camaro Coupe 3800 Series II V6 A4 - SOLD
-1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP coupe

Did you use teflon tape on the sending unit when you installed it? If not, it may leak.
And the filter should only be tightened by hand, pretty much as tight as you can get it w/o using a wrench.2002 Silver Firebird A4
T-Tops, Leather, Y87, W68, Chrome Wheels
Bone Stock
