  • do hayne's make a 2001 manual.

i went to pep boys and found 96-00 something like that. I did not find it for the year of my car. i know everything is almost the same but minor things change. anyway my question does hayne make a manual for my year???

probably was printed in 2000 but there are minor differences that really wont make too much of a difference, its the same car as the 2000

its the same. it has everything you ned to know to do the basics. Its not the exact same thick *** book as the mechanics have. its better ... less searching...

yeah, they don't make one for the 2001's... I was looking and couldn't find one either. I ended up buying the '96-'00 haynes manual. You'd think since the cars are basically the same, that haynes would change the manual printing to say "1996-2002", but they want to tick us off, so they don't do it.

they had some of the factory service manuals on ebay recently. probably the best place if you want the FULL service manuals.

Factory Manuals are worth EVERY PENNY, if you going to any sort of even remotely indepth work.

For really basic stuff, the little $20 jobbers are ok. But I found them really lacking in information and pretty poorly writen.

                    ditto

some of the torque specs help. some of the wiring diagrams help. 20 bucks is worth it if that is a big difference betweeen 120 bucks for full manual. Having any manual is better than no manual, though.

2001 is pretty much covered in the 2000 haynes.

Mitchel OnDemand Rocks! I go my hands on the older DOS looking version, but the data is the same as the new version.
