If your not getting any SES lights or poor gas mileage then dont change them however if you do get 1 or a few SES lights on your instrument panel blink on then take it for a free scan at AutoZone then decide from there. I asked the same question on this particular forum and got helpful replies to go that route. P1406 was my problem code and it was emissions related but not the O2 sensor. Turned out it was a flaky EGR. Replacing all 4 will run you big bucks if you check how much they are. Hope this helps you.Black \'96 RS Camaro, 3.8 V6 Series II, M5, Stock 200 HP, 204K miles!
