after working 12 hours i got in my car at 7:00 am and started it up and the ses light came on.. so i toook it to autozone and he hooked up his thing to get the codes and it was a 142 or 147 can't remember i was very tired .. anyway he said it was the o2 sensor on the right bank (drivers side exhaust manifold)... the question is when he cleared it the SES light, the SES light never came back on when i drove it home so what does this mean /?????

I think those SES lights have a tendency to hiccup every now and then. I've had an SES light come on maybe 3 times, after clearing them out they don't return.<a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/sac2165\" target=\"_blank\"> CAMAROS</a>

Don't lose faith man. You posted at 6 in the morning... most people are at work or school all day and many can't post.

I had the same trouble but it on my 96 impala ss.
The light would come on every once in a while but then shut back off.
I took the o2 sensor out and checked it and it was bad.

Are those my floormats you are talking about?
As for SES hiccups, I aggree ... The O2 sensor behind my cat throws a 0410 (I think) whenever it wants to. My fix is to just pull the negative and it resets.Zaino; FireBatCave Decals; Red Inside<br /><br />K&N Filter & Lid; Removed MAF screen; FRA; Raised Air Box; 180°F Stat; BMR STB; 3\" Catco & S-pipe; Borla Cat-Back; O2 Sim; HPPIII; NGK TR55s; Taylor 8mm wires<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/cbass300\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/id/cbass300</a>
