The filters on most GM V6's are interchangeable (except for Saturn, who likes to use paper-style conical filters on their newer cars). The 4.3L's usually use a longer filter, but it will work on 3.4L's, 3.8L's, etc. However, these filters are not interchangeable w/their V8 counterparts.
