  • Does anyone have a tranny cooler

I was think about buying one now that i have some cash. I have done the basics intake, exhaust,..any other sugestions...

I was going to get the B&M tranny cooler and i was wonder who had it and what kind of changes they saw. Does it raise the life of the tranny or lower. And does it help with shifts.

Basically is it worth the 60 bucks.

It's not that hard, the worst part for me was attaching the rubber lines to the metal lines without any leaking.

I got a B&M also, but it was about $35 bucks, not $60. Is the one you are looking at aluminum colored, or painted black? B&M makes some heavy frickin duty ones that are painted black and run about $60. I think they are kinda overkill for us.

If you take a look at the link in my sig you can see how I mounted it. I wouldn't do it like me though. I have seen pictures of the tranny cooler mounted on the front bottom of the radiator. It looks like a much better place than where I put mine. Oh well, live and learn.

You really won't feel any gain from it. If you do a lot of stop and go, or really gun it inbetween stop lights and things like that, it will increase the life of the tranny.

If you do it, remember to add some fluid when you are done.
