Flowmaster crack at 3500+

Why the hell when I rev up past 3000 with my flowmaster it makes some freaky noise thats annoying, my rev limiter stops me at 4000, but when i get past 3, it sounds like backfire. From what I hear, every V6 with a flowmaster does it.

i would think that it's just rasp but... why does your rev limiter stop you that low?

im doing it in park -- Yea my rev limiter stops me @ 4000. and when i hold the brake it stops @ 2000 traction control ****.

I need something to remove my rev limiters and my JET PCM Chip didnt do it.

No, that's your torque converter.

so im guessing im going to have to get someone to reprogram my pcm to edit the torque converter settings.

Just get a high stall converter.

Is that just the muffler or a catback, and what size is it?

What size is the muffler? No idea, just the typical flowmaster that they put on @ the shop. I dont have a cat on my car --
