car is missing

when i start my car up it idles like i have an aftermarket cam but i dont have one,after the car warms up it calms down a bit,im getting a tuneup done this week with msd wires,if this doesnt fix the problem,which im hoping it should,what else could be wrong,other than that the car runs fine

Do you have an SES light? When was the last time you changed your plugs? What rpm does your call idle at? How many miles are on your car? Maybe clean the pcv valve, or the iat sensor or maf are going bad. Maybe even clogging exhaust or dirty fuel filter. It can be so many things! ;)

yeah a SES light does come on,i know the previous owner had a new o2 sensor installed,the car has 140,000 miles,im having plugs and wires both changed soon,what else should i have done at that time

Well go get that SES scanned. If you have an Autozone nearby they should do it for free. That way you know exactly what's wrong with your car.

Lets say you have this prob. but you are not getting any SES lights?...
-would there be a problem in the PCM?

they cant scan it,its a 95 so it has the obd1 computer but the newer style hook up,or so they said
