  • Not able to burnout in 3.8L Auto.

I've got everything from traction control to no low end torque to put my cat back on and ill be able to etc etc.

    1998 Camaro 3.8L V6
    Flowmaster Exhaust
    No cat (straight pipe)
    JET PCM Power Chip

Why cant I burnout if I could in my 1994 3.4L camaro? Someone please tell me whats up once and for all if any of you guys know.

    I'll describe the situation:
I hold down my brake and put it in 1st gear (automatic transmission) and slam on the gas, it goes to about 2000-2500 and it just stops there and wont go any higher. Is this a rev limiter or is this the fact that I have a straight pipe and not a lot of low end tq and back pressure?

    Someone help!
