Thats what they told me when i got my Flows. I also got the K&N air filter and was thinkin' about the cold air intake but since my car's got 133k on it, would it be worth it?http://www.cardomain.com/id/1995birdman

I rrealized this after i topped the tank. The pump always says between 13-15 gals. filled up. Thus leaving 1-3 gallons that existed in the tank prior to fill. .... no one actually said anything helpful on figuring out why I am getting such bad gas mileage. It doesnt make sense that people with the same motor get a hundred miles per tank different. I have a 96 completely stock(except for 160 thermostat) 3.8l camaro. I can drive slow or fast It doesnt matter. When I drive fast I get 19!!!Whyen I drive slow I get 15!!!! that doesnt mnake any sense! something is wrong with the cars getting 220 miles per tank. The confusion surrounds me
change is imminent
if I were they
we could be great

I dont understand the fascination with 160 stats. The idea of combustion works on heat and expansion, so why make it colder? It would only impede the expansion of the gases. I do understand the computer retards timing when the temperature gets up high, but with our cars, they shouldn't run themselves over 210 anyway, which isnt hot enough to hurt the timing. ::shrug:: Just my two cents.www.cardomain.com/memberpage/771259
\'02 3.8 a4
Mods: Nothing worth mentioning yet, but I have plans for it.

\"Every time a Honda dies, a Chevy gets its wings.\"

Most engines make the most power when they are running at 210, i dunno you've noticed this but when LSx motors hot lap they just get faster, the only thing diff. about LSx's is that they have that compsite intake, your intake manifold gets too hot and robs that power, but an LSx can run for four hours and the intake will be cool to the touch.

those posts about the thermos are quite helpful though.

Well I used to get 380 + to a tank with my 97 RS, old fuel filter, stock plugs / wires, old oil, bad airfilter and I drove like a MADMAN and it NEVER EVER got less than 380 to a tank... Till recently... got less and less and then I did a tuneup... (Plugs, Wires, PCV, Fuel Filter, PVC, Airfilter, Oil Change) It helped alittle but now I'm getting around 350 - 370 to a tank. How much do 97 tanks hold anyway? I THINK they were 15.5... or were they just 15?1997 Camaro RS W/T-Tops
All Stock / 200 HP

i have the exact same prob on my car as the original poster. i have poured in injector cleaner, chked tire pressure multiple times, always filled it up with 93 octane, and havent ever even installed my 180 thermo! (also have 3.42's) yet i get about the same 220 to the tank no matter how i drive. my car is an 02....with just over 26k on it...wtf is up with this?? new it got right at 220, then with intake exhaust, it actually seemed to go down. only way i get awesome mileage is if i drive on the highway, and even then i only get about 260 sumn. i never let it get under "e" though, always fill it up right as its approaching it...i wish i got better mpg, because this is ridiculous :(V-SEX!

intake/exhaust ;)
plenty appearence

Within my grasp: 14\'s :)
