  • Blown gm 3800 camaro motor

I can get a good deal on another gm 3800 out of FWD car, are the blocks and heads the same? I know I would have to take the intake, exhaust manifold and motor mounts off of the old motor, would this work? It would save me a bunch of money. The new motor came out a wrecked 1999 bonville with only 3,000 miles. Thanks in advance.

You'll more than likely have clearance issues with the firewall and the blower. Do a search in the Forced Induction Forum on the M90 Blower, and GTP Blowers and you'll find out some more information. You can do anything you want with enough money though.

This is a standard gm 3800 motor not the blower motor, I would have to use my intake and exhaust manifolds anyway, the one on the bonniville is reversed.
        Thanks

Also besides the intake and the exhaust manifolds the serputine belt puuleys have to be rerouted for the camaro.
