reprograming vin

Ok i have a 99 say i wanted to get a 00 vin and program it into my computer so i could then use the hpp3 first where could i get this done and second where could i get a 00 vin

A good place to look for a 2K VIN might be at a car dealer. Find one that has the same equipment as yours (trans,engine,options, etc.) and copy it to your hpp3.

Or, if someone on here wants to, they could just give their VIN number.

You might not want to do this, because if that other car was or ever is in an accident, carfax will list your car as being in the accident. People will be reluctant to buy it.

No. Reprogramming the computer with a different number will not change the VIN on his registration, or on his windshield. He won't take the blame for the other guy's accidents.
