I'm sure it was talked about in the past, but I can't seem to find it. I need information on LS1 swaps. Are there any books, magazine articles, or threads that have in depth information on installing a V-8 on a V-6 frame. What is needed...all that sort of stuff. I've got the LS1, tranny, ECU, and wiring harness. All I need is a list of other stuff needed to make it work. For instance, am I going to need to upgrade the suspension. You know, things like that. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

There is a lot more you need - radiator, firewall heater/AC core, fuel tank with pump, instrument panel, dash wiring harness - get the picture?
Call Scott at www.speedautomotive.com as they have done numerous conversions and know exactly what has to be done.
Some will say that you don't need some of this, but then you will hacking and splicing your car together.

Don't forget the K-member (I know I would need a new one on my pre-'98) and also you'll want to upgrade the brakes. The little stoppers they put on ours suck when you're dealing with more power. Good luck, although you'll wish you just sold the car and bought an LS1 in the future.
