I'm buying a new rear axle online, and I need to supply a shipping company with dimensions. The axle is off a 1995 camaro with 3.23's and Posi (no brakes included). What are the approximate dimensions (length, width, height), and how much does one weigh?
I'm shipping within Florida, any one know a good freight company?

He hasn't offered to measure it, and it took him a month just to send me a grainy image. It's easier to ask you cynical experts if you know the answer than it is to get in touch with this guy, who drops off the face of the earth for weeks at at time.
And yellow freight sounds like a good idea, thanks.

1. How much are you paying for the axle?
2. How much are you paying for shipping?
3. Why aren't you getting a 98+ rear with the disk brakes to save you from the conversion?
I'm ordering my rear from Fparts salvage. They test all of their rears, and they have an assortment from gears, to ABS to TCS, to LSD, etc. I'm getting my 3.42/LSD rear from them off a 02 SS with 9000 miles on it. $500 total shipped with insurance. So I don't have to worry about what shipping company or dimensions and all that. They take care of that for you. You just gotta give them where you want to ship it to. (Comes by freight truck, so it can go to any address you want).
Just my 2 cents to save you trouble in the long run. You never know what that 95 rear end is gonna cause you in the long run. I'm sure it has a ton of miles on it, wouldn't be surprised if gears are starting to wear, etc.
