guages jump when starting

every time i start my car after a while i see my guages bounce like i lost power to them, and my trip is at 0 every time, i think i may have blown a fuse with the manual fan switch i just installed but how do i know which fuse it is, if ya can help me please cause it also makes my car sound like it doesnt want to turn over when i start it

I might be wrong, but are you sure it's not your battery?

batt reads perfect charge when i hook it up so i dont think its that and i just got a brand new alternator

thats weird. does your car flash up to 7 grand and 90 mph and then go back down? if so then we have the same thing. everybody told me that it was my alternator- hows your car starting? my battery is fine, about 14 volts the whole time. the only mod that ive done that could have anything to do with it is removing the MAF screen, but i HIGHLY doubt its from that- im takin the car in on friday to see if its the alternator, ill let ya know then if that fixes it

yes thats exactly what it does, it starts like it doesnt want to turn over
